Kynex
Convertible Model
The Kynex Convertible Model is a robust proprietary
engine designed and built with state of the art techniques using a
finite-difference implicit solver.
The Kynex model was built by Sateesh Mane and John Loewenstein with
a blueprint design from renowned quantitative analyst Peter Carr. Sateesh and John have several years of
experience building quantitative analytics in the financial industry. The Kynex model handles all the known
nuances among the various convertible structures that exist in the
convertible market today such as accreting call prices, cash on conversion,
make-whole provisions, etc. in addition to other advanced features unique
to this model.

Interest
Rate Swaps
An Interest Rate Swap is a hedging tool frequently used
by our clients. Kynex provides its own proprietary model to value these swaps.
This calculator is fully integrated into the portfolio and trade entry
systems. The model will allow you to pay fixed rate payments and receive
floating rate payments or vice versa.

The Kynex Advanced Search Tool allows you to find
attractive investment opportunities based on dynamic search criteria
specified by you. The search criteria could be a combination of convertible
indicative terms, valuation metrics, underlying stock indicatives and
fundamentals. The advanced search tool allows you to dynamically filter and
group the result set, so that you can hone in on the set of convertible
securities that best meet your search criteria.
